Here at DiscipleSHIP Kids we ask that all personal items be left at home. We encourage our students to bring a Bible and any items needed for studying God’s word.
Where do I find DiscipleSHIP Kids classes? Our elementary classes are located on the bottom floor of our building. You may take the stairs or elevator to the bottom where you will be greeted by our friendly staff.
How do I know my child is safe?
Here at CrossBridge we require any person working in our ministry to complete a background check as well as teacher training. We operate our ministry on a team approach, in which two or more teachers will be assigned to each group which helps with teacher-student ratios as well as accountability.
When do they meet?
We currently only meet during the 9:30 service. Our 11:15 service is a family friendly service in which students are encouraged to participate.
How does CrossBridge keep parents involved in their child’s experience at church?
Each week when you pick up your child, your child’s teacher will hand you a parent flyer. This flyer has a summary of what your child learned during the worship services, as well as some ideas for how to incorporate that week’s lesson into your child’s daily life.
We believe the best way for parents to be involved in what their child is learning is to become a part of the team that teaches that child. Each week, volunteers do everything from greeting families to teaching and leading kids in worship.
How can I volunteer in DiscipleSHIP Kids ministry? There are many positions available where you can serve. These include greeting families, teaching, co-teaching, being a part of one of our construction teams and many more.
