Salvation

Q. Is a relationship with God Possible?
A.

YES!!! God wants a relationship with you but it comes through Jesus.   The bible says that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved! (Romans 10:9-10)

Q. What stands in the way of this relationship?
A. Sin.   The bible tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of God's Standard (Romans 3:23) and it also tells us that because of our sin we deserve eternal separation from God. (Romans 6:23)

Q. What am I supposed to do about my sin?
A. The bible teaches that our sins need to be punished and Jesus took that punishment when he died on the cross.  Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and the sins of the world.  He came to this earth as baby lived a sinless life and then willing died for our sins.  So that we might have life.  But he didn't stay dead, the bible teaches that 3 day later he rose from the dead! (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) His resurrection gives us victory over sin and death!

Q. So what do I need to do to have a Relationship with God?
A. Its simple really, the Bible tells us we must trust Jesus.  The Book of Ephesians tells us that we are saved through faith in Jesus by grace.  Not by anything we can do but by what Jesus did on the cross. (Ephesians 2:8-9)  Its through Jesus that we find forgiveness of sin and a relationship with God.
The book of Romans tells us if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead we will be saved.  (Romans 10:9)
We must simply pray and ask Jesus to forgive our sins and to be our Lord and Savior.

Sunday Morning

Q. What time are your Services?
A. We have two Sunday Morning Services: 9:30 and 11:15 am.  We also have Life Groups that meet throughout the week.

Q. How should I dress?
A. This may seem like a simple answer, but you should dress how you're comfortable. If you like wearing a suit or a dress, great. If you prefer jeans and a t-shirt that's great too. You will find a mixture of dress when you're here.

Q. What are your services like?
A.  Our music is very diverse and exciting. We want you to feel comfortable enjoying the music. If you want to stand and sing and raise your hands, by all means, join in. If you would rather listen and think about the words that are coming out, that's fine too. We want you to be you when it comes to worshipping God.

Our Preaching is dynamic, relevant and biblical.

Q. What do I do when I arrive.
A. When you pull into the parking lot, we have attendants who will guide you into a space and will then direct you to the front doors. Once inside, you can expect to be welcomed by our 1st Impressions Team.  They can help you find our children’s classes or show you to the service.  They are there to help.  If you would like we also have coffee and pastries for your enjoyment.

Youth and Children

Q. What do you have for my Kids.
A.  At CrossBridge we have an incredible, safe and fun environment for your children. Our nursery (birth to Kindergarten) is located upstairs in our brand new nursery. Our children’s Ministry (1st-5th grade) is located downstairs.  We have a very safe check-in and check out process so you can rest assured your child is in good hands.

If you have a student from 6th -12th grade we have a great student ministry.  Our teens meet in their youth room (located just off the main building) during the 9:30 service; they also meet on Wednesday nights at 7:30 in the youth room.

Q. How do I know my children are safe?
A.  Here at CrossBridge Church we take our children’s safty very seriously. All of our workers must go through a background check and training. We believe in a team approach to ministry in which each class has at least two workers at all times. This not only helps in teacher-child ratio’s but in accountability as well.

Q. How does CrossBridge keep parents involved in their child's experience at church?
A.  We believe the best way for parents to be involved in what their child is learning is to become a part of the team that teaches your child. Each week, volunteers do everything from greeting families to teaching and leading kids in worship.  Each week we also send home family devotionals for parents to do with their child.

Q. Will my child have the same teacher each week?
A.  Yes. Your child will remain in the same developmental stage and if you attend the same service each weekend, will have the same teacher.
